HolaPlace holds your money until the day after the event
Payment is taken securely and we hold it for 24 hours after the event. We release it to the host only then, once everything has been confirmed.

When you send a request, the amount is held on your card, but you are not charged yet. The charge is confirmed only when the host accepts. Until then HolaPlace holds the money: it does not go to the host. On an instant booking, payment and confirmation happen together. In both cases, HolaPlace keeps the amount until the day after the event.
You are not charged. If the host declines, or the request expires without a reply, the hold is released and the amount returns to the same card. The booking is not confirmed.
Before a space is listed, the HolaPlace team checks it and the authenticity of its photos. If you arrive and it is not what the photos show, write to us. We review the case with both sides. If we confirm that the space does not match the listing, we refund the booking amount.
Yes. You can cancel at any time from your booking chat. What you get back follows that space's cancellation policy, flexible, moderate or strict, which you see before you book.
